Happy 2006

Well, it's 7:45pm New Year's Eve. I am doing dishes and laundry and lounging around in my sweatpants and a Hooters T-shirt. Pretty Festive. Dogs are sleeping and Evan is in the basement cursing at the cable that we can't get to work in the new living room. We got the TV stand moved back into the living room, first time since August we have had TV in the living room, and it won't work. Evan has been working on it for a couple of hours. He has replaced all the cable ends and rewired it, he has done just about everything and it still won't work. We have a cable guy coming on Wednesday, but what will I do on Sunday for Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy, and on Monday for CSI Miami, and Tuesday for My Name is Earl? It's terrifying. I try not to think about it. All my previous digitally recorded shows could be MISSED! The drama.

So we are supposed (were supposed) to be going out with John and Amethyst, and I was pretty excited, but sense I woke up yesterday with about 19 zits (now I blame microdermabrasion and haven't done it since Day 3) And today I really haven't done too much in the line of fabulous acheivements, and then John and Amy haven't called and it is almost 8pm, I am feeling pretty unmotivated. The new year can ring in on it's own and I really don't give a flying fuck. Is this what it means to get old and crotchety?
