Today I have a fabulous Mystery Quote for you. Spoken directly to me, today. Let's see if you can unravel the mystery:
"Um, Can you put it in reverse? My hand is kinda gross..."
My OCD must be flaring up. I have created an access database that will inventory many of my posessions. I began with tables for my scrapbooking supplies and stamps, and then followed with tables for our Movie Collection, Our Appliances, and Books. I am too afraid to do this with CD's as we easily have thousands, and I back all mine up in iTunes and purchase strictly from iTunes, now... so I am not as worried. Now I am beginning to add things into the database. Item numbers, descriptions, model and serial numbers, book authors, formats (hardcover/softcover books, wood or acrylic stamp sets, and dvd/vhs movies) and prices and purchase dates/vendors.
schedule with offsite media if I am not dedicated enough to run the dishwasher and get the mail. However I could keep the database on my jump drive and enter new items in as soon as I purchase them.'SELECT boobs FROM under_the_shirt WHERE gender = 'female' AND size > 'enough' AND leftsize = rightsize LIMIT 2;'

I was talking to a friend today, and I started to think about some things. Mostly things that are different in my relationship with my husband now that we have been together for 9.5 years versus things that happened when we were younger and dating and mostly before we moved in together, or before I gained weight.
I honestly could not remember a time within the last 4 years. I don't even remember him saying anything to me on our wedding day about how I looked. I remember him saying my flowers were pretty, and that he loved me of course, and other things about the day that made me know how much it meant to him... but never remember anything being said about me. Just me. And how I looked. That I was beautiful, or even pretty, or even cute. I could be wrong. I am sure he would say that he said I looked great, but I can't remember it.

Well, I keep
forgetting to take pictures of the living room now that we have FURNITURE! Yeah! I don't know what took so long, except that for the past three days (when I actually remembered) the batteries that were in my digital camera were dead, and Tonight we tried batteries from every appliance, remote, wireless video game controller, and vibrator in the house and they didn't even have enough juice to get the damn camera to turn on. SO we charged some up and NOW I took pictures and have some to share. I am going to put them here in a small thumbnail-ish format, so just click to see them BIG, that way it won't slow down the blog load time any more. It's already excruciating for you dial up fools.
Okay, I admit it... I love Firefox. I always knew I should switch. I have been using "both" randomly for a while now, but I have officially made the switch. And let me tell you, it's hot. It's sexy. It's FOXY. I am a "Foxy Lady" (but you all knew that, right?) so anyway, I am going to share my firefox extensions of the day. Download them while they are HOT.
You know, how is it that if I am in a good mood, all it takes is one person to really turn that mood around and get me cranky? And how is it that if I am in a bad mood, it takes a hell of a lot more than one person to turn a bad mood into a good one.
This morning I was behind a soccer mom. But not a soccer mom my age, but one a wee bit older, just a half generation past me. You know the ones, and how some of them are still stuck in the late 80's and early 90's? Still blowdrying their hair away from their face (not feathered, but we called them "wings") and still (somehow) managing to find stores that sell tapered jeans and ankle boots. High Waisted Pants with a belt, You know.... she's just missing the shoulder pads (and she does have them in that suit that she wears on special occasions.) Basically sporting and hanging on to all of the 80's stuff that was so uncool we wish it would NEVER come back. Not the punk rock part of the 80's. The other side. The side that we would never be caught dead wearing.
right for us, so I anticipate being awake for a while, especially since the lightening is just now really getting started. So all night there have been tornado warnings and storm updates on the TV interrupting my shows, basically just getting me all freaked out and ruining my regularly scheduled programming. So please send good thoughts that everything is in one piece after this storm hits. For some reason I had this eerie thought just now of what would happen to my blog if I died suddenly *shudder* How would anyone know where I went?
