Phase 1 is over.

Well, today is the end of my first two weeks (phase 1) on the South Beach Diet. I have to say that it hasn't been too bad. I am kinda excited about adding some fruit and some carbs back into my diet, but I have lost 10 pounds and that hardly feels like a dent in the 70 that I needed to lose. I was thrilled when I lost those 10 pounds in just 6 days on phase 1, but now I am disappointed that I havent lost anymore in the last 8 days. I have been sticking pretty well to the program, except for those damn chocolate chip cookies that we got at work.

So now I have to decide it I want to even go IN to phase 2. It's scaring me. Like if I leave phase 1 I will gain all that 10 pounds right back, when my goal is to lose 60 more. If I couldnt' lose more than 10 pounds on phase 1, how will I lost weight on phase 2? I guess my goal should be to ease into phase 2 and also add in excercise. I hate to excercise. I would rather read or scrapbook or watch TV. Or even clean, which has to tell you how much I hate excercise. I know that is terrible. I don't mind Yoga so much.
